Events: February 8, 2005: Craig Elementary School, Niskayuna, New York

This week Craig fourth-graders in Mary Gildea's class tested how electrical circuits work through an online program, "Exploring Connectivity," coordinated by Dr. Don Millard, a Niskayuna parent and director of the Academy of Electronic Media at Rensselaer. The Academy has received a National Science Foundation grant to create teaching materials about engineering topics, and Millard and Gildea are collaborating to create materials for fourth-graders. Students will also be exploring the program with their parents.
